Drajčići is a village in Kosovo – a former Serbian territory inhabited by an Albanian minority – where on the other hand the residents are Bosnian. The local currency is the euro, and yet Kosovan citizens cannot move freely within the EU. Kemal lives there: he’s constantly looking for a decent job in order to support his family. He decides to go to Sweden – where his sisters live – but obtaining a visa isn’t easy. Kemal finds a good job there, but he feels bewildered. He goes back to Drajčići, where nothing has changed.
